Posted by: Eva Ferrero on November 13, 2009

Interview with a high-school student in a religious school in Jerusalem who speaks about the daily and ‘normal’ racism towards Arabs in her school and in her everyday life. She talks about how she came to meet Arabs at all and how they were nothing like what her classmates consider them to be: terrorists. This young girl is not political, but is simply a witness to racist thoughts enforced by many religious institutions in Israel, giving her second thoughts about whether or not she will continue to live in Israel considering the atmosphere of hatred and injustices.
